NEWS!
Our latest book has been published!
Published Nov 2023. The book covers activities ranging from those which have been carried out in Sampford Peverell for centuries, such as milling flour and making cloth, to later industries like quarrying and processing lime, to those which were here in the 20th century: Norrish's creamery, the animal feed business, and the packaging factory. The book contains many illustrations including photos, diagrams and maps. As there are still local people who remember the more recent industries, we have many photos and reminiscences from them too in the book, which we hope you will enjoy.
You can order it by using the Contact us page of this website, or by emailing [email protected], or you can order the book via Amazon
Price : £7, plus £2.40 for post & packing
See our Publications page for a list of all our Sampford Peverell books
